Challenging, how one lives in this world without having that closeness with the Lord Jesus. Life, itself is challenging enough and become so chaotic with the negative happenings around us. As one step out from the comfort of his or her home thought of fear, of how safe is it out there comes into one’s mind. Man’s safety is threatened making one live with fear, even in the comfort zone of our homes were once called comfort zone are no more a safer place to live. Due to evil happenings in our societies.

Timothy 3:1-5

3 This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away  (KJV)

High consciousness of safety around about us every time now and then, lingers and persistently tugs in our minds. It makes men live every day in an environment void of safety, thinking about what could happened next, freely not being able to live and move around without fearing for his or her safety and loved ones. Is it expected for a Christian to be fearful? No, because the Bible commanded us not to fear. Psalm 23:4  Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. Here the Bible says, even though I walk through the darkest night, I will fear no evil. Why we will fear no evil is that the Lord God is with us. We can see here that we cannot avoid walking through it, but the assurance we do get every day is God with us.

Ephesians 5:16 (KJV)

16 Redeeming the time, because the days are evil.

The inability to change the situation of heightening violence, lack of peace and safety in our communities could impact our behavior and association in so many ways. And, we won’t allow fear to paralyze our mobility and functioning in our communities, daily. Operating and creating an atmosphere where one can create a time for the Lord through studying His words and allowing the Holy Spirit to minister to our hearts will ease fear out from our hearts. When failed to have that closeness with the Lord, fear step in, and we become so tense up not loosening up ourselves enough to be whom God created us to be in life. We cannot do anything, without God’s presence. It helps knowing His presence is with us, all time.

Generally speaking, since we cannot avoid interacting with those who are not having the same faith or belief as ours. Meaning, we are bound to come in contact with different individuals it could be in schools, stores, workplaces, buses, parks, businesses, etc having diverse views about life. That brings us back to the question of how would one live daily without having a closer relationship with Christ and survive in this evil world? Because the days are evil, we must have a closer and deeper relationship with Lord, allowing the Holy Spirit to lead us in all that we do. The Holy Spirit is a great teacher, and they are cases in life that we heard of people, where the Holy Spirit leads and direct. We could be such people, who are led by the Holy Spirit, if we avail ourselves for the Holy Spirit to take control.

But it takes humans creating that atmosphere, where the Holy Spirit will fill us up and daily direct us where to be and not to go. It is a relationship that man builds over time and constant desire for it. The day we are in today is evil, and no man would survive it if he or she does not personally have a good relationship with the Lord. If the world we live in is full of evil and there some goods, everywhere too. Knowing “grief and love are conjoined….” and one must embrace both to live well in this world. It only takes a walk with the Lord to graciously embrace grief and handle the situation which is beyond human’s help. Christ is love and his love is made available and revealed unto a man each day through a deeper relationship with the Lord.
Perfect love drives away FEAR.
