A new day.
How are you starting your day?
Is it going to be as usual?
Like waking up preparing for work?
Or getting kids all prepared and ready for school?
We thank God for the Grace to do that always.
But, most times, we do these SAME things, we get the same result.
Not bad having to make sure you get up early and prepare for work.
Likewise getting our kids to prepare for school, for parents, is our responsibilities, especially to younger children.
All these become our daily routines, every day, and at the end of the week, all exhausted and not much time to care for other things. If GOD rested from His work He loves to see us rest from work too.
We live in a world that is so unpredictable and with the chaos here and there, never knowing what may come next in life, we need to be careful how we live our lives daily. Consciously care for that life, “life has no duplicates.” Here today, gone tomorrow.
As an adult, married or unmarried, taking good care of oneself is very important. We have one life to live, and living it to the uttermost best is paramount. If you as a person do not take care of that precious life that you got, no one else will do. Invest in yourself, do what you can now to live healthy and happy, because, we are not on earth, forever. Therefore, is important how one lives his or her life.
If your body is too weak, tired, in pains and aches. When you felt or noticed these signs for several days, do you take a break and attend to that body? Work is good! Without working, we will ask ourselves. How do we pay the bills and take care of life necessities? On the other hand, ever wonder without good health, if eventually, the sickness knocked one out, how does he or she get to work? That brings one to the point of attending to his or her health on time, no matter how preoccupied the person is in his or her life pursuit.
Good health is wealth!
Jeremiah 33:6 NIV “ ‘Nevertheless, I will bring health and healing to it; I will heal my people and will let them enjoy abundant peace and security.
Sound health comes from the Lord. He is our Healer and our Shield.
He Cares and wants us to live in perfect health. God created us in His Image, and everything made by Him is beautiful. And it is God desire to see us be in health and prosper in all our works. As a human, if we, therefore, neglected caring and responding to our body, when needs arise, we failed. And most times, when we break down due to overworked and stress, or lack of proper sleep, we start looking for whom or why it happened.
Let us not wait for our bodies to stop functioning, before, we stop and take action. There is this sound in an old-fashioned wall clock it heavily does this ticktock sound at every minute, remaining us to be alert and get our priority in line. So does your body gives a signal and feeling when you put so much on it, without rest or care? For me, I will say yes. My body feels weak and tiring. And a pounding headache when I overworked my brain and realizing at that point the body is sending an alarm and a message like a clock for me to take a break from what am doing.
Little here, a little there worth more than toiling the whole day, night and day, without result. What is all the labor for, if in all we do in life we failed to care for that body to function properly? With good health, care, feeding, rest, less stress and exercise, we are more productive and accomplished a lot in life.
Better doing the best you can every day, have a positive mindset every day, tell yourself each day that today is my day and I work towards achieving something great. And, if the day turns out good or bad, there is always a lesson that we learn each day as we go through life. Learn from those lessons, and if it is good, it is a credit to you. Or another way, maybe you had a bad day, it is not the end of the world.
In such a moment of terrible days, we may feel so down, sometimes not wanting to get up to work or try something new. Giving up will bring you more pain than keep trying. At that point of giving up, take a break from such work, freshen up yourself, a little sleep and rest could help to get you working with a fresh mind to think of another way to tackle the problem. Better to be in health, physically and spiritually to handle challenges in life than having to do it when one is sick.
