He is strong, but we are weak

In our weakness, we are made perfect and strengthen through our Lord Jesus. It is at the lowest moment in our lives when all has been exhausted that Christ shows Himself as the potter. He is never God that forces His power or authority upon the human. Man is created to have a free will and live freely. But, He is a God, who loves those that depend on Him in all that they do. And He loves those who seek Him, trust and commit their ways upon Him before going ahead with their plans.

Ever get to point in life that you have put your all, yet no result? How exhaustive it becomes when one feels, he or she can do it, but later realizes that one is going a wrong way? Sometimes, one feels beaten up and discouraged, if not arriving at a positive outcome. To ease one from getting bitter about oneself, when what we planned failed, and we feel like giving up our visions in life. Wouldn’t it be worth, seeking God’s first and ask Him to lead us, directing our steps in line with our dreams and visions? Committing our plans and purposes into His capable hands relieve us from stress and depressions as a result of a failed accomplishment of one’s task or vision.

2 Corinthians 12:9-10 New International Version (NIV)

9 But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me. 10 That is why, for Christ’s sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong.

Therefore, don’t feel bad, if your plans didn’t work out as planned. It could be along the way God has better things planned and set aside for you, without your knowledge. Or, He could be slowing you down a bit from running ahead before Him, and missing the best in life? No matter how skilled and talented we are in our specialized professional fields and disciplines. They are times in life, we become so exhausted and overwhelm with the chaos of life, leading us looking for whom to lean on.

We all need someone to lean on when we got to the weakest point in our life. Those are the times that you need the closest friends or loved ones to talk to and pour out your souls. A shoulder to cry on and a gentle arm to hold you, and say it is going to be well. Who is a better person to do that with but Christ? He knows that we are but a human, and we cannot do it all by ourselves, without Him. Ever waiting to hear us say, Lord, lead me through this. With my strength and knowledge, I cannot get the best out of all these plans and visions of mine, except thy the Lord begins and ends with me.

The grace of God is sufficient, for in our weaknesses when we leave it all to Him, He fills us back with power beyond our imagination. In such a moment, when our strength is made perfect in the Lord, we can see, think and do far above, we can imagine.

Proverbs 3:5-6 New International Version (NIV)

5
Trust in the Lord with all your heart
and lean not on your own understanding;
6
in all your ways submit to him,
and he will make your paths straight.[a]
