You Must Be Blessed

We all want the Blessings from God. I want it always, and I do believe, every man and woman wants God to bless Him or her. But, how prepared are we, when the blessings come? Have we till and prepared our grounds for the blessings of God to dwell in? Or, is the ground so much full of thorns and weeds. A land that is not well cleared of weeds and debris cannot produce good fruits. One will not even see a safe place to even sow a seed, talk less, for the seed to germinate. The thorns, the dead sticks, debris, and the root of bigger trees in such land would hinder the growth of any kind to take place.

Likewise in our lives, a life so full of dirt, sins, worries, anxieties, hatred, anger, burden and worries have enough occupant in itself. And, where would the place be for the blessings to dwell? Isn’t it time yet for us to really seat ourselves down. Take a stock of how many times the blessings come, but don’t stay/remain in our lives. I feel we need to examine ourselves, could we be a problem to ourselves, without knowing. James 4:3 “Ye ask, and receive not, because ye ask amiss, that ye may consume it upon your lusts.” Or could the enemy(devil) be the attackers of our success and progress in life?

We do know, we are not fighting against flesh and blood, but principalities in high places. Ephesians 6:12(KJV) “For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.” Yes, the enemy will ever attack and challenged our faith in the Lord. The accuser of the brethren, that’s what the enemy is. But, when he brought that accusation against us. Are we going to be justified, or condemned? That depends on our standing with God. For the Bible says in Romans 8:1(KJV) “There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.”

Our walk with Christ should be sincere and holy. He is a Holy God, and He cannot dwell in a filthy environment or body. What is in our lives that is not allowing the Holy Spirit of God to dwell and attract every blessing of God to us? Where the Spirit of God is, there is Liberty. Liberty from everything that kept us in bondage. We all need that freedom form sins, pains, sorrow, hunger, adultery, immorality, impurity, hardship, poverty etc, Then, we will have the power through the Son, Jesus Christ to take over all that the enemy has stolen, if we ”walk not after the flesh, but the spirit.” The blessings will stay if we empty ourselves unto God and allow the Holy Spirit of God to dwell. We’re Nothing without God. The blessings won’t stay if we are so much full of ourselves. And one leg in the world and one in God; we can’t serve two masters. Either we are in or out!
